Amna, I'm assuming since Eid al-Adha comes 70 days after Ramadan, the date changes every year too? Is it usually in the fall? How does this work?
Great question! Eid-ul-Adha does change every year because it, like Ramadan, follows the lunar calender. In fact, the Islamic calender follows the lunar phase, so all Islamic events move back about 10 days each (solar) year. So, basically, I've experienced Eid in winter, fall, and summer. Hope that makes a little bit of sense.
